No previous experience necessary.

Explore: developmental movement, as a way in to full-bodied dancing; ways of rolling, for becoming more sensitive to changing relationships to ground and one another; listening to, reading, joining, influencing/being influenced in specific shared movement; finding internal support and centers of weight; receiving weight or support from others and environment; playing with our visual field while seeing from within our constellation. We work for about an hour, followed by open time to dance with all that’s cooking.

Reach out to Julie at nattie.hjn@gmail.com or message Dror at (646) 284-1553 with any questions.

Skinner Releasing Technique ~ continues in May, June

Some experience in SRT necessary. Be in touch if interested in joining the current series or a future offering.

Skinner Releasing facilitates an enhanced awareness of our imagination’s aliveness and presence within movement.  By way of guided imagery and tactile studies with a partner, we’ll explore the possibility of being available to any movement impulse. We will see how stillness may support listening to the body, and listening support stillness. At the end of each class is time for writing and drawing as a way for further engaging personal process.
